The Fellowship of Reconciliation Peacewalk for Multifaith Solidarity
The FOR Peacewalk for Multifaith Solidarity is an interfaith program of the Fellowship of Reconciliation dedicated to strengthening faith-based relationships and promoting restorative justice through grassroots organizing.
The Peacewalk has been a program of The Fellowship of Reconciliation since 2002 when Rabbi Lynn Gottlieb and Imam Abdur Rauf Campos Marquetti helped facilitate 18 Muslim Jewish Peacewalks throughout the United States and Canada in response to the events of September 11th. The Peacewalk affirms the presence of Muslims in the United States and works to eradicate religious intolerance.
The Peacewalk is a faith-based and social justice collaboration to demilitarize land and life and build a movement of people who chose to live nonviolently in ways that sustain the environment and affirm the well-being of the human family.
